- Once I heard on television that a Disco Polo band Bayer Full wants to conquer Chinese market and has all its songs translated in Chinese. I imagined some short Chinese generals singing these songs…. It was so absurd that it inspired me to make a film about it – said Maciej Bochniak, the director who visited the school together with the sound director Michał Fojcik, and met the audience after the screening of „Disco Polo”.

„Once, I had this dream to make all these people forget for a while who they really are …” – says Daniel Polak, king among Disco Polo agents, played in the film by fantastic Tomasz Kot. Amongst Bochniak’s film’s cast you’ll see such actors as: Dawid Ogrodnik (who attended singing classes for two months to sing all disco polo hits in the film), Joanna Kulig, Piotr Głowacki and Iwona Bielska.
