Digital post-production has led to dramatic changes in the production of feature films. It is the greatest change in how films are produced since the introduction of sound film. These new possibilities mean everyone involved in m aking films must completely re-think their approach: in the first instance this affects camera teams but it impinges just as much on the work of directors and producers. As a result of new digital production methods, a production concept that incorporates post-production needs to be developed before shooting begins, involving an analysis of the creative, technical and financial possibilities for the project.
