First-year cinematography students took part in underwater photography workshops at the Feature Film Studio swimming pool in Wrocław, in cooperation with Aquafilm.

At the Wrocław Feature Film Studio, in a special studio with a filming pool, first-year cinematography students participated in unique, hands-on underwater photography classes. Over two intensive days, under the guidance of experienced experts from Aquafilm – Underwater Camera Techniques, the future cinematographers learned, among other things, the principles of work and key safety issues in aquatic environments, the physics of water – without which it's difficult to understand subsurface movement – and the magic of creating underwater images.

This wasn't just theory!
Each of the ten students independently designed and produced their own unique underwater micro-scene. The water was a (pleasant) 30 degrees Celsius, and everyone worked in the pool wearing specialized wetsuits. Later, all the shorts will be combined into a short, underwater film impression.

Specialized workshops using the swimming pool of the Wrocław Feature Film Studio were organized as part of the fifth edition of the specialized film workshops.
