Real-time MOCAP. In the second phase of the project, we are seeking a technology partner and individuals with experience of working with real-time motion capture systems.
We are interested in both teams and individual specialists who work in environments such as Unreal Engine, optical/inertial mocap systems, live link, as well as real-time integrations (rendering, animation, synchronization of motion and image data).
We are planning an intensive implementation phase for the project at the end of 2026, the central element of which will be an experiment in the performative use of real-time mocap technology at the intersection of film, performing arts, and generative practices.
We are looking for partners and collaborators who:
- have experience configuring and operating mocap systems (optical or inertial),
- work with real-time engines (particularly Unreal Engine) for character animation,
- understand the issues of synchronization, latency, and stability in real-time systems,
- are interested in the experimental and artistic use of these technologies (not just commercial applications).
On the project side, we offer: - a remuneration commensurate with the scope of involvement and role in the project,
- an artistic and research context developed at the Lodz Film School, - international cooperation under the Erasmus+ programme,
- the opportunity to co-create experimental performance and film forms using real-time technology.
