The 18th Beldocs International Documentary Film Festival ran from 21 to 27 May.

Beldocs is one of the largest documentary film festivals in the Balkans. Since 2008, the organizers have been striving to create a unique space for presenting documentary cinema and open discussion on humanity in general.

This year's Fireworks section - an explosion of films presenting interesting audiovisual aesthetics - featured the student documentary TY RZEKO directed by Izabela Zubrycka.

The jury decided to award a special distinction to the director of the film. Jury statement says: "a poetically and visually captivating short documentary".
