Another important point in our development programme dedicated to series. Linda Green ran a workshop "How to pitch?" for us.
The "How to pitch?" workshops, which took place at our School on July 1 and 2, prepare students who participate in the development programme for the final presentations of series projects in October.
Let us remind you that as part of cooperation with NETFLIX, a development programme for series was created. Screenwriting, production and directing students are involved in the programme. Students of these fields have created teams of three people in which they work on the development of their TV series projects.
The "How to pitch" workshop was conducted by Linda Green, an Italian living permanently in Great Britain and one of the most outstanding pitch specialists in the world. She has extensive experience and has worked with the most important people and institutions operating in film and series production (including the BBC, Discovery Channel, Endemol Shine Group). Linda demonstrated presentation tools to the workshop participants and worked with individual groups on the final presentation of their projects. Linda Green's working method combines psychology, neurology and storytelling. She calls her approach "the three P method: Pitch content, persuasion, performance."

Projects are developed under the supervision of screenwriting lecturers: Kacper Wysocki and Bartosz Staszczyszyn, Arkadiusz Antosz, as well as Anna Pachnicka, Dean and lecturer of the Film Art Organization Dept.; Marcin Malatyński, Head International Relations and our school lecturer; Leszek Dawid, Vice-Dean and lecturer at the Film and Television Directing Dept., and Andrzej Mellin, Head of Screenwriting at the Film and Television Directing Dept. As part of cooperation with NETFLIX, students have the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops with TV series industry specialists recommended by the platform.
