"Lecieć nie lecieć" by Aniela Gabryel, a fourth year direction student, wins the main prize in the international competition at the Vienna Independent Shorts Festival.
Jerzy Wójcik and Witold Sobociński were special guests at the screening of the film, "Faraon"(1965)by Jerzy Kawalerowicz. A digitally restored film was screened at the School Cinema.

On 6th June the Artistic Exhibition Bureau in Sieradz will open an exhibition "Sieradz Sentiments" of the works of prof. Tadeusz Majda, a Lodz Film School lecturer who died on 19th June, 2013.
