Preparations are underway for an international editing workshop organized as part of the Erasmus + Project "Open innovative resources for filmmaking education and training".

The film materials which will be used during international editing workshop have been shot. The workshop will be organized as part of the Erasmus + project "Open innovative resources for filmmaking education and training".

Workshop participants are editing students from the Film School in Łódź, the Academy of Arts in Prague (Czech Republic), Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb (Croatia) and Higher School of Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia).

Each of the above film schools produces video materials illustrating one of the issues relevant to the language of film and editing: film space, tempo / rhythm / time, point of view, visual style. All these issues are the basis of education in the field of editing.

Students from the Film School in Łódź work on the SPACE topic. The resulting materials will be used for editing exercises performed during the joint workshop for students and professors from all the schools involved.

During the meetings, the didactic value of the materials produced will be assessed and the concepts of their use in the educational process will be tested. The resulting field and technical studies will ultimately be placed on a publicly available online platform.
