On 23 Nov., a full-length debut film “Tower. A Bright Day” by Jagoda Szelc will be screened at the opening of the 22nd ORLEN CINERGIA European Film Forum in Lodz.

It will be the first screening of the film “Tower. A Bright Day" by Jagoda Szelc in Łódź. The film was already screened at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia where it was awarded and received a critical acclaim: "Tower. Bright Day" is a true revelation. I doubt I’ll see anything better than that here" wrote Paweł Felis for Gazeta Wyborcza having seen the film in Gdynia. "Szelc, (still a student, not a graduate yet, made such a  film, which is difficult to believe) from fragments of real life and events, constructs cinema filled with mystery. And this is not easy to do at all" - said Justyna Kobus for TVN24. Tadeusz Sobolewski reported: " Jagoda Szelc’ film debut "Tower. A Bright Day." was the revelation of the Gdynia Festival beginning. Expectations were high and the jury’s verdict proved Jagoda Szelc’ great success at the Festival – she won the best screenplay and best debut direction prizes.
