At the exhibition opening Józef Robakowski revealed – I’m leaving the school because I want to be free. You have no idea how restricting, in a conventional way, the school is– students have to do their assignments and the professors have to teach them, be strict and give marks, which is the worst of it.

“Nowadays, in my opinion, the situation in Poland is extraordinary which requires especially freedom of an individual, not so much mass freedom”. - said Robakowski, a lecturer, outstanding multimedia artist active in photography, film, installation, an art historian and the founder of an art group “Warsztat Formy Filmowej”.
