08.06.2010 TELUS Audience Choice Award for Jarosław Sztandera

The 16th annual CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto proudly presented TELUS Audience Choice Award winner - Jarosław Sztandera and his "Luxury" ("Luksus") - a story of 17-year-old sex worker who finds himself abandoned by a nerfarious pimp to fend for himself on the streets.

01.06.2010 2ANNAS Award for Magnus Von Horn

We are very happy to inform that the short film "Echo" (director Magnus Von Horn) has received the Grand Prix - 2ANNAS Statuette and 2000 Euro Cash Prize from general sponsor of the Festiwal - company Hannu Pro as the winning film of the International Competition at 2ANNAS International Short Film festival in Riga, Latvia.

28.05.2010 MEDIAWAVE' 2010 Award for Jonas Matzow Gulbrandsen

It's a pleasure to inform,  that film of our student Jonas Matzow Gulbrandsen - Darek won the award for the Best Short Fiction in the International Film and Music Festival „FÉNYÍRÓK FESZTIVÁLJA – ANOTHER CONNECTION - MEDIAWAVE' 2010.

26.10.2009 The prizes of MEDIASCHOOL 2009

The international jury (presided by Hassan Dezvareh and comprising Sharon McGowan , Tomasz Pobóg-Malinowski and Mark Wegner ) of the 16th International Film &Tv Schools' Festival MEDIASCHOOL 2009 has awarded:
"Birthday"  by Wang Cheng Yang (Taipei National University of The Arts from Taipei, Taiwan)  - Grand Prix.
The 1st prizein went to Matej Bobrik's “Where the sun doesn’t rush” (The Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland).

15.02.2010 Festival de Cannes Residence Programme

Every year, the Festival de Cannes Residence welcomes 12 young filmmakers from all over the world who are working on their first or second feature film. A jury selects 6 candidates for each of the two four-and-a-half-month sessions per year. 
The candidates are selected on the strength of the short films, or the 1st feature, that they have already directed as well as on their planned feature and the reasons why they wish to participate in the Residence’s programme. 
The selection for the next session (October 1st 2010 – February 15th 2011) will take place from:  
Final date for applications: April 1st 2010 (arrival date)
Final Jury selection date: July 7th 2010
