The studies are meant for those who are already involved in photography and having accumulated a volume of their own artistic work will utilize this education as a boost for their further development.
The teaching curriculum is structured around ‘master classes’ run by photography professors carrying out their own prorgam. These ‘master classes’ ensure the diversity of tuition and reflect the number of specializations in contemporary professional photography: photo reportage, creative photography, applied photography, portrait photography, editorial photography, etc.
This leading group of classes is complemented by a wide spectrum of technical subjects e.g. lighting, picture digitalization, as well as general subjects such as history of photography, aspects of audio-visual culture, copy rights, graphic design, etc.
On graduation the student presents a diploma work (a series of photographs, multimedia show, or installation) accompanied by a thesis on the subject connected with the subject matter of the diploma art work, and is granted an MA degree.
