The skill of film editing to most film buffs is still a mysterious ability and a secret knowledge involving splicing shots into meaningful sequences to produce film narration. To those who would like to find out more about film editing we recommend Paweł Makowski’s book, which is about to be published, containing conversations with Polish film editors. Amongst them there are Lodz Film School professors such as Lidia Zonn, Milenia Fiedler, Jarosław Kamiński and Rafał Listopad.
