Marcin Podolec started his artistic career at the age of 17 with an educational cartoon "Ser-ce" (Heart). Then followed: "Kapitan Sheer", "Wszystko zajęte" and "Fugazi Music Club". Finally, as a Lodz Film school animation student, he made his most known film "Dokument" which won a prize at the Koszalin "Młodzi & Film" Festival and the Best Animation Prize at "Łodzią po Wiśle". Marcin also creates applied graphics which were exhibited in Tel Aviv, Strasbourg, Cracow. Apart from Marcin Podolec the other nominees in the film category are: an actress Eliza Rycembel, and Kordian Kądziela, the director of the film "Szczękościsk".
