The diploma film of the acting students “The Singing Napkin” directed by prof. Mariusz Grzegorzek will be presented at the Tokyo Poland Film Festival on 18 & 20 Nov. 12:55 hrs
It is already the fourth festival but for the first time the viewers will be able to watch, apart from the classic films, the latest Polish film productions such as the acting diploma film " The Singing Napkin", our graduate Jan Komasa’s films "Miasto 44" & "Powstanie Warszawskie", Paweł Pawlikowski’s "Ida", and Maciej Pieprzyca’s "Chce się żyć". Among the classics which will be screened this year there are amongst others: "The Manuscript Found in Saragossa" by Wojciech Jerzy Has, "The Promised Land" by Andrzej Wajda and "Identification Marks: None" by Jerzy Skolimowski.
"The Singing Napkin" having been screened at festivals in Poland sets out for abroad presentations. The film is already the winner of a prestigious section Different Look at this year’s Gdynia Film Festival. The film was also presented at the Transatlantic Festival in Poznan and the T-Mobile New Horizons Festival in Wrocław.

ABOUT DREAMS COMING TRUE – The fourth year acting students from the Lodz Fuilm School under the artistic supervision of Mariusz Grzegorzek made the first ever full-length diploma film.
ABOUT COURAGE- They were not scared of limitations, they told stories straight from their hearts; stories which try to be authentic and wise and at the same time are crazy and not so wise.
