- Each encounter with sick children evokes empathy and cools off any possible narcissistic tendencies. For the students of acting it is an important lesson, a lesson in humility – says prof. Jadwiga Sobczak, who founded the group „Teatrino” in 2003. So far the acting students together with the Foundation „Art Cures” have prepared a dozen plays (e.g. „Świat bajek”, „Bajkolandia”, „Na gałęzi”) addressed to sick children in hospitals or children living in small places away from culture centres. The latest play prepared by Teatrino and called „Bright as Sunshine…” is based on poems by Jan Brzechwa. Script & direction: Małgorzata Flegel, Acting Department lecturer.
