MIX (2026)
Synopsis: The archives of the Lodz Film School contain dozens of films made by students from the Global South who came to Eastern Europe during the Cold War. Sylwia, a daughter of a Polish mother and a Nigerian father, returns to this material to confront her own heritage and identity, which spans two countries. Her narrative gives new meaning to images from the past, restoring their relevance and placing them in a contemporary context. In this way, her own story becomes part of this archive.
