As part of the Film School Intensive Workshops, an international workshop was held with Prof. Dumała, who helped develop 6 projects. The participants came from Poland, Lithuania, Sweden & Ukraine.
The first edition of an intensive, international film workshop has concluded; it included consultations with Prof. Piotr Dumała, titled "Developing the Short Animated Film – Finding Your Own Way."
- "For me, the goal of the workshop is to help participants develop their own original animated film projects. I don’t assign exercises, nor do I teach the basics of animation or how to use software; instead, I help them shape an outline for a future film out of 'nothingness.' It’s about working on the specific project that each participant brings with them," said Piotr Dumała, a lecturer in Animated Film and Special Effects.
Workshop participants: Ihar Kuzminau (Ukraine), Edita Rudak (Lithuania), Emelie Söderlund (Sweden), Dorota Grolewska (Poland), Oneal Malki (Sweden), Julia Szuleka (Poland).
Participants worked on their own original projects, which varied in terms of subject matter, technique, and stage of development. Throughout the workshop, they consulted Prof. Dumała, who was assisted by Aniela Jadczak, an animation student.
Technical support for the workshop was provided by our staff members: Artur Wiecha, Klaudia Pietrzak, Kamil Walesiak, and Wojciech Bryndel, while legal support was provided by Monika Gromotowicz.
