"Małe stłuczki", the film debut of Ireneusz Grzyb & Aleksandra Gowin, Lodz Film School editing graduates, had its premiere at the Charlie Cinema in Lodz. The film will be on at cinemas from 5th Sept.

- We are happy the film will be seen by Lodz inhabitants. I am from this city myself and many places shown in the film are meaningful to me. - said the film director Ireneusz Grzyb at the premiere screening of "Małe stłuczki". Also Aleksandra Gowin & Ita Zbroniec-Zajt took part in the discussion about the film.

The film was shot in the Lodz Polytechnic Rectorate building, OFF Piotrkowska, Sienkiewicza and Wólczańska street, the Liberty Square and Lodz courtyards.

It is a film about an accidental encounter of three people, Asia, Kasia and Piotrek, who for various reasons avoid close relationships. They value their independence too much. When emotions are born they try to resist them turning everything into jokes and fun.

The film, "Małe stłuczki" had its premiere at the 43rd International Film Festival in Rotterdam (22 January – 2 February, 2014) and at the "Młodzi & Film" Festival in Koszalin it was awarded the Amber Prize for Best Photography: Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, a cinematography graduate ("for careful composition and consistant narration through images") as well as the Press Award for full-length feature film ("for a film, which was supposed to be just a 'scratch', and hit us like lightning. With poetic sensitivity and natural humour it describes the results of an emotional confrontation with real life, at the same time presenting the most innocent scene of an orgy in Polish cinema").
