Loreley Films invites you to discover short films by Polish female directors (such as Dorota Kędzierzawska and Krystyna Gryczełowska) from the 1960s to the 1980s. Drawing on the theme ‘Labouring Bodies’, which the exhibition at the Museum Tinguely explores, the programme sheds light on the working conditions of women in Poland at that time and shows how they organised themselves, showed solidarity and found paths to emancipation.

The programme includes the student short film directed by Dorota Kędzierzawska, our directing graduate, BEGINNING.

Compiled in collaboration with curator Weronika Adamowska (HER Docs Festival), the programme will be introduced and contextualised by Charlotte Ducos.
