We invite representatives from streaming services, TV stations, and production companies, as well as anyone interested in the voices of the new generation of screenwriters, directors, and creative producers.

The best stories are built on paradoxes. Centered on diverse characters and woven from unexpected narratives, they clash narrative patterns with genre conventions. It is from the meeting of distinct visions and sensibilities that the most engaging elements of television series and cinema emerge. This was the guiding principle when, several years ago, we launched a development program designed to bring together students of screenwriting, production, and directing, enabling them to collaboratively create series projects capable of transforming the local market. Each participant contributed their own unique sensibility, personal experiences, and way of thinking. Our role was simply to create an environment where such diverse personalities could connect and find common ground. We taught the fundamentals of the craft while striving to identify and preserve each participant’s individual "voice"—ensuring that mastering the technical skills and gaining experience in cross-disciplinary collaboration would prepare them to boldly enter the film industry.

Thanks to the Film School and Netflix, six teams spent the period from February to October developing their ideas, writing about subjects that mattered to them—topics that were painful, deeply affecting, and thought-provoking, yet also offered great entertainment. There were setbacks and spectacular triumphs, creative crises and moments of epiphany. Ideas hit dead ends, underwent transformations, and were pieced back together. Some collaborations fell apart, while others grew stronger than anyone had imagined.

Throughout this time, we received invaluable assistance from experts provided by Netflix: Katrin Merkel (SerialEyes, DFFB), Sue Ahern (BBC), Naomi Levari (Black Sheep Film Productions), and Linda Green (Leading Creative Talent, BBC, SKY).

Today, after nine months of work, we are ready to present the results of our little series laboratory."
