PEOPLE CHANGE

Someone is working. Someone is going to work. Someone is coming home from work. Someone isn't coming home from work. Someone is taking work home. Someone is working from home. Someone is working in a home—but not their own. Someone is returning to their parents' home to tell them something very important. Someone is not returning to their parents' home so they won't have to tell them something important. He loves her. She loves him. He doesn't love her. She loves her. He loves himself. He doesn't love himself. She doesn't love herself. He doesn't love her. He loves her but doesn't know how to show it. She loves him but doesn't know how to show it. He loves him, but he doesn't love him back. She worries. He worries. She is dead. Everyone, without exception, means well and is generally quite nice to one another; and when they don't know what to say, they say nothing.

"People Change" is a romantic comedy, a farce, and an existential tragedy—a melodrama for the second decade of the 21st century.
