Filip Bojarski won the Perspektywy competition for the film CZARNA GODZINA.

The jury of the 51st Gdynia Polish Film Festival, composed of Krzysztof Zanussi (Jury President), Przemysław Chruścielewski, Jagna Dobesz, Małgorzata Hajewska-Krzysztofik, Mikołaj Trzaska, Marcin Wierzchosławski, and Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, awarded the following prizes:

The "Golden Lions" Grand Prix for Best Film at the 51st Gdynia Polish Film Festival went to director Maciej Sobieszczański—our screenwriting graduate—and producers Zbigniew Domagalski and Agnieszka Będkowska for the film PRZEZ ŚCIANĘ (Through the Wall).

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS went to:

* Jolanta Dylewska – graduate and lecturer at the Department of Cinematography and TV Production for cinematography on the film PRZEZ ŚCIANĘ

* Agnieszka Glińska – our film editing graduate for the editing of the film DOBRY CHŁOPIEC

* Jacek Koman – acting graduate for Best Supporting Actor in the film OUR REVOLUTION

The jury of the PERSPEKTYWY Competition—comprising Jury Chair Dorota Kędzierzawska and members Elwira Pluta and Jacek Poniedziałek—after viewing the eight films selected for the Competition, awarded

the SAPPHIRE LIONS Award of the 51st Gdynia Polish Film Festival to the film CZARNA GODZINA, directed by Filip Bojarski—our directing graduate—and produced by Jerzy Kapuściński and Magdalena Tomanek.

AUDIENCE AWARD went to the film:
DOBRY CHŁOPIEC, directed by Jan Komasa – a graduate and lecturer at the Film and TV Directing Dept.
