This year’s Czech Film Festival turns its spotlight on Poland! The short film programme features five student films—including fiction, documentary, and animated ones; our representatives will be there
The Finale Festival in Plzeň is the largest showcase of Czech cinema. Its first edition took place in 1968. This year, the festival organizers decided to host a "Focus on Poland" section, where our student films will be presented.
The 39th edition of the Finále Plzeň Festival runs from September 25 to 30.
A screening of films from the Lodz Film School will take place on Saturday, September 26, at 5 p.m.
The programme includes:
BE SOMEBODY dir. Michał Toczek (fiction)
FAUSTYNA dir. Natalia Dutkiewicz (documentary)
THE CROOKED HEADS dir. Jakub Krzyszpin (animated)
SLAP!! dir. Mikołaj Piszczan (fiction)
DYING OF A YOUNG DEER dir. Angelika Cygal (fiction)
After the screening, our students—Natalia Dutkiewicz (directing) and Jakub Krzyszpin (animated film and special effects)—and directing lecturer Grzegorz Jaroszuk will meet with the audience.
