The National Centre for Film Culture in Łódź invites you to the ceremony of unveiling Professor Ewa Braun's star on the Łódź Walk of Fame on September 8 (Tuesday) at 4:00 p.m.
Detailed schedule:
* 4 p.m. - Unveiling of the star - Łódź Walk of Fame (64, Piotrkowska St.)
* 5 p.m. - Ewa Braun recalls – the meeting hosted by Diana Dąbrowska * 6 p.m. - Screening of the film "Nieciekawa historia" (An Uneventful Story), directed by Wojciech Jerzy Has.
The star was funded by the ZAiKS Association of Authors.
EWA BRAUN - An outstanding set designer, costume designer, and interior decorator, an Oscar winner for Steven Spielberg's "Schindler's List," and a long-time lecturer at the Lodz Film School. Her credits include over 60 feature and television films and collaborations with leading directors, including Janusz Majewski ("Hotel Pacific" "Queen Bona," "H.M. Deserters"), Wojciech Jerzy Has ("An Uneventful Story," "Write and Fight"), Agnieszka Holland ("Europa Europa"), Krzysztof Zanussi ("The Touch," "Our God's Brother"), Andrzej Wajda ("Holy Week"), Volker Schlöndorff ("The Erlking"), and Peter Kassovitz ("Jacob the Liar").
