The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has approved the composition of the Oscars Jury. The Jury members will select the film to be submitted as the Polish entry for the 99th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards in the category of Best International Feature Film.

The panel will include our lecturers:
Milenia Fiedler, Rector of the Lodz Film School and lecturer
Mariusz Włodarski, lecturer at the Department of Film and Television Directing

Our graduates will also be included: Małgorzata Szumowska and Paweł Łoziński.

The official submission of a film selected as the Polish candidate for an Oscar by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences must be done by September 30, 2026.

The 2027 Oscar Gala will take place on March 14, 2027.
