The International Film Schools Festival (Festival Internacional de Escuelas de Cine – Uruguay) is organized by the Uruguayan Film School (ECU) and the Uruguayan Cinematheque. This year, over 600 submissions were received from 50 countries. The films were pre-selected by students of the Uruguayan Film School.

The festival runs from 18 to 21 August in Montevideo.

Our student Maria Dakszewicz will once again present her film at the Festival! Last year's programme included DUCK BROTH, and this year it is the film BAR CROQUETTE FREESTYLE, which will premiere in South America.

Film synopsis: A customer of the Croguette bar, eager for excitement, questions the appeal of her everyday life having watched a Bollywood film.
