Łódź was the only Polish city presenting its offer at VivaTech 2026. The presence of universities from Łódź, including the Film School, was possible thanks to the initiative of the Office of Economic Development and International Cooperation of the City of Łódź Council.

VivaTech 2026 attracted 180,000 attendees, 4,000 partners, 3,600 investors, and 14,000 startups. For several days, Paris became a meeting place for people shaping the future of technology, business, and science.

The fair, held from June 17th to 20th, was attended by representatives of the Department of Film Art Organization: students Mikołaj Tabako and Paweł Hermanowski, and lecturer Dr. Krzysztof Franek.

It was a unique opportunity to learn about the development of the latest technologies, preview projects related to artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on film production and media, and participate in inspiring and important meetings, including those held at the Polish Embassy in Paris. The event was both educational and networking.
