This is the best possible end to the Animator Festival in Poznań - the film by our lecturer Piotr Milczarek wins the Grand Prix, and Marcjanna Urbańska wins the Golden Animusz for THERE IS NO JUNGLE!
The 19th International Animated Film Festival "Animator" in Poznań has concluded, and the competition winners have been announced.
The Grand Prix – the Golden Pegasus – in the International Short Film Competition, went to the film "THE WILL BE NO OTHER END" (produced by Fumi Studio), directed by Piotr Milczarek, a lecturer in animated film and special effects, which at the same time shortened the film’s road to an Oscar.
Jury statement: For its visual scope, satirical humour, social and political criticism.
The Golden Animusz in the Polish Short Film Competition went to Marcjanna Urbańska (animated film graduate) for the film THERE IS NO JUNGLE (produced by Fumi Studio).
The award was co-financed by Polish Filmmakers Association.
