The 55th edition of the Lubuskie Film Summer in Łagów is behind us. We're thrilled to see that the jury's verdict includes films by our students and graduates in three competitions. Take a look:

SHORT FICTION FILMS COMPETITION:

GOLDEN GRONO

DRAUGHTS, dir. Katarzyna Kosajda
"for a complete and conscious narrative form, a nuanced approach to human sensitivity, a touching reflection on transience and taking advantage of second chances".

BRONZE GRONO

SLAP !!, dir. Mikołaj Piszczan
"for tackling the subject of the crisis of masculinity, for an innovative approach to the problem of addiction, for emotions that grab you by the throat and for acting which combines fragility and strength".

Short Fiction Films Competition Jury: Jolanta Tokarczyk, Jakub Armata and Ignacy Liss.

DOCUMENTARY FILMS COMPETITION:

SILVER GRONO

AS LONG AS THEY DON’T FIND US, dir. Maja Górczak
"for an extremely consistently composed story and for the conscious and mature directing skills of the debuting artist".

Documentary Films Competition Jury: Małgorzata Imielska, Marta Prus and Marta Kovárová.

MAIN COMPETITION, including the films by our graduates:

BRONZE GRONO

GOOD BOY, dir. Jan Komasa

"for a dynamic, modern film language which pulsates with the rhythm of modernity. Jan Komasa mixes genres and aesthetics, creating a cinematic fresco".

GOOD HOME, dir. Wojciech Smarzowski
