"It's not the screen stars who are the attraction here, but the filmmakers who are engaged in discussions with the audience, difficult arguments, because this is an audience looking for something more than entertainment in the cinema, just as the entire Łagów festival is one of the last redoubts in defence of artistic cinema," write the organizers of the Lubuskie Film Summer.

We're thrilled to head to Łagów, a beautiful place nestling among forests and lakes, to focus on what's most important in cinema, far from the red carpets and social glitz.

We'll share films by our students with festival audiences, and we'll also screen films by our graduates and faculty.
