The Palm Springs Short Fest is one of the largest short film festivals in the US showcasing international films. Films competing at the festival are legible for the Academy Awards, BAFTA, and Goya.

This year's edition runs from 23 to 29, June.

BAD IDEAS is the latest film by Jan Bujnowski, our directing graduate and PhD student, which had its world premiere at the Warsaw Film Festival. The film was shot at locations including the Lodz Film School. At the PS Short Fest, it was shown in the Under the Spotlight section.

Film synopsis: Is there any connection between sunglasses, high school friends, and diminutive names? And could it have something to do with sombrero hats?
