The AI vnLAB Summer Laboratory is two weeks of intensive courses, workshops and meetings devoted to contemporary forms of audiovisual creativity and reflection on new solutions and artistic practices.

The programme includes, among others:

* Basic Course: Introduction to AI in Audiovisual Production
A solid foundation for anyone who wants to consciously use AI in their creative and professional work.

* Masterclasses: Generative AI in Image, Video, and Audio Creation
A series of specialized workshops aimed at graduates of the basic course who want to translate their general knowledge into advanced skills in professional audiovisual production.

* Workshop: Vibe Coding for Creators: AI-Powered Programming for Audiovisual Projects
Want to create multimedia applications with the help of artificial intelligence? Join our workshops on vibe coding—a new approach to programming which transforms ideas into working code with the help of AI.

* Legal Workshop: AI and Copyright in Audiovisual Production
A comprehensive training course for producers, creators, and lawyers specializing in copyright law in audiovisual production, dedicated to the safe and legal use of artificial intelligence at every stage of filmmaking.

* Film Workshop: Hybrid Filmmaking with AI
A hands-on workshop introducing participants to a hybrid approach to filmmaking, combining traditional filmmaking techniques with generative artificial intelligence tools.

* Film Workshop: Protein Components in Algorithms
A unique creative laboratory for directors and cinematographers, focused on experimenting with new forms of cinematic expression.

* Interactive Workshop: New Forms of Digital Narratives
This module covers three complementary areas of digital design: transforming traditional reading formats into interactive web publications, creating non-linear documentary narratives based on hypertext structure, and learning vibe coding—programming multimedia applications and animation systems with the help of artificial intelligence.

We welcome both those who have previously participated in vnLab AI Laboratory courses and those who would like to participate in them for the first time.

The number of participants is limited. Priority registration is given to students and staff of the Lodz Film School. Remaining spaces are available to non-members of the school – the workshops are subject to a fee.
