"This is photography from inside of me". And this is an invitation to the exhibition opening which will be held on 12th June (Friday) at 5:00 PM in Szklarnia Gallery Lodz Film School.
I free myself from the compulsion to express myself "for a reason." I am a pure emanation of the pleasure of photographic vision, initiating thought processes.
This is photography from inside of me. There's no need for analysis or interpretation. What matters are my emotions, woven from my experiences. My main compass is intuition.
It seems I've seen these images before—in my head. Now I recognize them—passing them on my way and capturing them, I acknowledge their existence. They aren't, and don't have to be, "pretty" or objectively aesthetic. They have one purpose: to exist on their own.
To create such photographs I need a Road.
Embedded in space, I am attentive and receptive to the signals emanating from the place. As a photographer, this gives me the unique pleasure of entering and experiencing reality more deeply.
I reflect the surroundings, but I do not avoid subjective interpretation, constantly asking myself: is this an image only for me or for others?
Photographs are states of my emotions, but also of my broad aesthetic attitude towards reality and this medium.
I know that I am a photographer, and I know how this medium works and how it changes.
I'm not looking for anything else - I just want to show photographs that talk about photography. Being a photographer allows me to understand myself.
