The meeting is part of the 66th Krakow Film Festival. The Lodz Film School is a partner of the event.

"(Not)forgotten Female Documentary Filmmakers" is a collection of texts edited by Monika Talarczyk which revives the memory of female documentary filmmakers who have often remained on the margins of cinematic history. The authors analyze their achievements, themes, and working styles. They show how female documentary filmmakers portrayed social realities, privacy, work, and cultural transformations, as well as how they operated in a male-dominated film community. This is both a historical study and an attempt to rewrite the canon of Polish documentary filmmaking which incorporates a female perspective.
