Our lecturer at the Film and Television Directing Department, Prof. Krzysztof Heyke, won the Orlen Award in the Culture category.
The gala took place on Thursday, May 28th, at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw.
"We live in a time when photojournalism is more important than ever. Every day we see thousands of photos and films, and each time we first have to consider whether what we see is true," said Weronika Mirowska, president of the Grand Press Foundation, at the beginning of the gala.
Congratulations to our professor, winner of the Orlen Grand Press Photo Award for the photo: Concert for the Vistula River performed by pianist Maria Gabryś on a piano placed on a historic boat.
