Production
Production students received awards and distinctions for their startup ideas presented at the Final Gala of the 6th edition of the EkSoc StartUp Competition.
The Gala took place on 27, May.
The EkSoc startUP! competition is an academic startup competition open to students and PhD students from all universities in the Łódź Voivodeship. During the Gala, the ten finalist student teams with startup ideas presented their business concepts to the jury and the audience.
This year's Jury decided to award distinctions to the projects of our students from the Film Art Organization Department:
* Studio Wspomnień - PLN 3,000 distinction in the "uniqueness of the project" category
Team members: Paweł Hermanowski, Paulina Kubat, Sebastian Jerzykowski
An interdisciplinary AR platform which brings the history of cities and people to life through photorealistic 3D reconstructions and conversation with interactive digital characters.
* MUZYKU - PLN 3,000 distinction in the "response to social challenges" category
Team members: Mikołaj Tabako and Jakub Lebiedziński
Multimedia platform (audiovisual content + blog + app) to promote musical activity among adult amateurs (with particular emphasis on seniors).
In addition, the Jury awarded non-financial prizes in the form of vouchers for the following projects:
* Festival Strategy Consortium - voucher from the Prof. J. Dietl Entrepreneurship Development Foundation: a package of specialist services (business consulting - 8 hours, legal consulting - 4 hours, intellectual property consulting - 2 hours, workshop on the submitted topic - 6 hours)
Team members: Oliwia Kamieńska, Sebastian Maur
Digitalization of festival strategy planning.
* MUZYKU - voucher from the Prof. J. Dietl Entrepreneurship Development Foundation: access to the Foundation's office space - possibility of team meetings until the end of 2026.
* Studio Wspomnień - CitySpace voucher: annual Virtual Office service package in CitySpace React worth PLN 1,788 net (including the possibility of registering a business at a prestigious business address, correspondence handling, professional address for business and marketing communication, reception support).
