A joint educational project between the Lodz Film School & Luchino Visconti Civica Scuola di Cinema in Milan has begun. Animation students from our schools are creating together short animated films.
From May 11th to 15th, the project's pre-production phase is taking place in our school. Students, divided into two groups, are preparing a complete project dossier, including storyboards, mood boards, and graphic proposals. The developed materials will be presented to tutors from both schools for approval.
Our school's team, consisting of Jagoda Czarnek, Kornela Szlachta, Maja Siankowska, Marcel Ciałkowski and Wiktoria Konopczyk, works under the supervision of Aleksandra Charpowicka.
The Italian team, supervised by Ramona Mismetti, consists of: Elena Bortolotto, Anna Dondi, Manuela Lionti, Francesca Re and Emenuele Landolfa.
After completing their work in Łódź, the project will transition into online production. During this time, students will create animations based on the approved dossier, establish a pipeline, and establish a detailed production plan. They will independently organize their work in teams, dividing tasks according to their competencies and specializations.
Post-production will take place at the Luchino Visconti Civica Scuola di Cinema in Milan from June 8th to 12th. During this time, editing, colour grading, sound or music, and final work on the materials will be carried out.
The culmination of the entire project will be the presentation of the five animated videos, which will take place on June 12 in Milan.
The project is implemented with Erasmus+ funds
