"In short films, every frame and every second works with particular intensity condensing emotions and images which stay with the audience for a long time. This year's International Short Film Competition leads through worlds geographically distant, yet surprisingly close in its reflection on contemporary times. This is a cinema of strong voices, formal courage, and unfettered imagination. As many as 36 films will compete for the Krakow Film Festival honours," the festival organizers write on their website.
