The jury of the FiSH Film Festival Rostock in Germany decided to award Jakub Wenda's documentary THE UNKNOWN LIFE OF FLOWERS.
The FiSH Film Festival ran from 23 to 26. April. Since 2004, the organizers have focused on showcasing emerging talented filmmakers from Germany and Northern Europe.

Jakub Wenda, our directing student, received the Young Baltic Cinema Award in the OFF Shorts competition, which showcases films by filmmakers under 26 and from the Baltic countries. The award was shared.

THE UNKNOWN LIFE OF FLOWERS
Film synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Kamila will soon be leaving the foster care centre. As the group's leader, she serves as a virtual mother figure to the younger girls. From now on, they will have to fend for themselves and find hope in the place where they live.
