The Krakow Film Festival has announced the programme for the Polish Competition. Our students and graduates’ films will compete for the Golden Hobby-Horse in several categories.
41 films were qualified for the Polish Competition – 19 of them are the work of female directors, and 17 are films by our students and graduates.
"We have ahead of us a broad spectrum of formally daring cinema, attentive to reality, and open to risk. Cinema that tackles difficult topics, touches on family fractures and traumas, and at the same time manages to extract profound meaning from seemingly trivial stories. This is here where the most interesting phenomena of the past year and the most distinctive voices will resonate," the organizers announce.
Kraków Film Festival runs from 31, May to 7, June.
