Today, we are proud to announce that at the 50th Cleveland International Film Festival, LOST & FOUND won the Audience Award for Best Short Film with a Theme of Hope, awarded in memory of Dakota Ophelia Berg, and the Jury's Special Mention for Best Short Fiction Film.
The film LOST & FOUND was directed by our production graduate Wiktoria Kwoka, and was made with the substantial contribution of creative work of the Lodz Film School graduates: cinematographer Juri Walcher (cinematography graduate); production manager Katarzyna Półtorak (production graduate); music composer Przemysław Pilarczyk; and producers Przemysław Pilarczyk and Kornelia Kamieniarz (film and television production graduates).
Film synopsis: A teenage burglar breaks into the home of an elderly man, not expecting to find him there. To her surprise, she interrupts the man in the middle of a suicide attempt. Startled by her presence, the man makes her an offer – he will let her go free if she helps him finish what he started.
