Fourteen live-action films and only five animated films, including AXLES, were selected for the La Cinef programme. This year's edition received 2,750 submissions. The films represent 15 countries and four continents.
The winners of 29th edition of the La Cinef competition will be announced on May 21 at the Buñuel Theatre.

AXLES
Synopsis: On a speeding train, a man loses his ticket and, in a desperate attempt to find it, falls into a spiral of obsessive searching, where the deforming space draws him into a disturbing journey.
