Saturday at the Iluzjon Cinema, it's like being at sea – a busy day of screenings and jury deliberations. Today, we're recalling the festival moments of "Łodzią po Wiśle." Let's relive it once again.
What happened on Saturday 11, April?
* As always, Iluzjon Cinema warmly welcomed us aboard. Thank you for the opportunity to screen our best fiction, documentary, and animated films produced last year.
* Our brave volunteers made their presence felt, ready to ensure the audience felt comfortable – thank you for your commitment. Thanks to you, the Festival took place without any storms.
* Consultations for candidates for studies at the Lodz Film School were held, led by our students – no one can talk about classes, films, and student life like they do.
* We had a pre-premiere screening of the film CAPO, the feature-length debut of our graduate Robert Kwilman. After the screening, the audience met with the filmmakers: Robert Kwilman, screenwriter and director; Malwina Górecka, screenwriter and producer; Kirk Kjeldsen, screenwriter and our lecturer; Ming-Wei Chiang, editor; Katarzyna Prędka, production manager; and Peter Sand Magnussen, producer, casting director, and actor. The meeting was hosted by Bolesław Racięski.
* The audience participated in the screenings – thank you for wanting to see our student films. We film, operate, and promote them for you.
* The jury deliberated heatedly, but the verdict was unanimous! We would like to thank Agnieszka Smoczyńska, Paweł Łoziński, and Łukasz Żal for watching all the films.

* Representatives of our partners came to personally congratulate the winners and present their certificates. We are grateful for the valuable prizes donated by the Polish Film Institute, the Polish Filmmakers Association, ATM GROUP, ATM SYSTEM, BLACK PHOTON, EDITORIUM, and OPUS TV.
And next year we will see each other at the 20th anniversary edition of "Łodzią po Wiśle".
