Enrolment for the audiovisual sound engineering programme begins on 1, April Why is it worth it? See behind-the-scenes of Michał Kosterkiewicz's workshop for first-year students in this specialization
The Audiovisual Sound Engineering programme aims to educate students to become highly-qualified, professional sound engineers acquiring knowledge and skills in the fields of music and filmmaking, as well as the techniques and technologies necessary to work at every stage of filmmaking and other forms of audiovisual communication. During your studies, you will learn, among other things, how to record, edit, and create sounds; how to use sound and music to enhance the drama and emotional flow of an audiovisual message; what the film production process entails; and how to collaborate with other specialists throughout the production process.
The full-time under-graduate programme in sound engineering lasts three years and leads to a bachelor's degree. Completion of this programme qualifies students to pursue master's programmes in sound engineering, sound design, and related fields.
Enrolment for studies begins on April 1st (registration via the IRK system). All details regarding enrolment and entrance exams are available at: filmschool.lodz.pl/studia/rekrutacja/stacjonarne-studia-i-nbsp-stopnia-3-letnie/66
Musical education is not required at any stage of the enrolment process.

Our first-year students met at TOYA Studios with Michał Kosterkiewicz, an outstanding sound engineer, who led a workshop entitled "From Analogue to Digital Technology in Film Sound Recording and Post-Production." The students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with recording, synchronization, and mixing equipment.
Thank you for the meeting!
