On Saturday, March 28, at 8:30 p.m., we will turn off the lights on the Lodz Film School campus. This is a symbolic gesture that draws attention to the need to respect nature and its natural resources

WWF Earth Hour is the world's largest environmental social initiative. Every year, hundreds of millions of people around the world unite in a symbolic gesture of turning off their lights to protect nature.

This year, the campaign finale will take place on the last Saturday of March, i.e. March 28, 2026, at 8:30 p.m.

The primary goal of WWF Earth Hour is to care for the Earth by promoting sustainable development and respect for nature and our planet's natural resources.

In 2026, WWF Earth Hour will be held worldwide for the 20th time and in Poland for the 19th time.

At the Lodz Film School, the lights will be turned off in all buildings and throughout the entire campus.

The campaign is organised by WWF Poland, and our school is honoured to join it.
