On March 24th, the RMF Classic MocArty Awards were presented in Warsaw. Among the recipients were our graduates: actress Agata Turkot and Jan Holoubek for directing the series HEVELIUS.
The winner of the RMF Classic Special Award "Bo wARTo" was Agata Turkot – our acting graduate.
The winner was selected by the Jury composed of Agata Kulesza (Chairwoman), Agnieszka Grochowska, Magdalena Juszczyk (RMF Classic), Mirosław Baka, Piotr Domalewski, Łukasz Maciejewski.
"This is a recognition for talent, hard work, and enormous future potential. This young actress caught the attention of viewers with her role in the film DOM DOBRY (Good Home), directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. Her performance demonstrated not only great acting maturity, but also the ability to create an authentic and moving character," the justification reads.
Listeners of the RMF Classic radio station voted the premiere of the series HEVELIUS, directed by Jan Holoubek, our cinematography graduate, as the "Best Event of the Year".
"This is not just another television production, but a monumental undertaking which has set new standards in Polish film industry. The scale of the production, the quality of the execution, and the power of the storytelling ensure that this project will remain in viewers' memories for a long time!" write the Awards organizers.
