The ZINE POP-UP - an evening where students from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague and from Lodz Film School will present their one-week-long project in a pop-up event at FUGA, 20th March, 6 p.m.
Infrastructure and unkept promises, a meeting with the European tree of the year 2023, the birthday ritual, reconnection with your inner child, the violence in the archive and the hidden rivers of Lodz.
This pop-up event reveals the experiences of 51 photography students from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, embarking upon a week-long immersive expedition to unravel the experiences of working in an unfamiliar city. Six photography students from Lodz Film School joined them! Our Łódź field trip allows students to learn from the city and its people, the necessity of engagement, rethinking our ideas of visual culture and, most importantly, the need to just wander, explore and see what else is out there.
