Jakub Krzyszpin's animated film will be screened at the MONSTRA Animation Festival student competition in Lisbon.
Since 2000, the MONSTRA festival has promoted artistic creations that straddle the border of absurdity and conventional aesthetics. The organizers create a cultural bridge for artists from many disciplines, using the multidisciplinary language of animated film.
The 26th edition of the festival runs from 12 - 22, March.
The Łódź Film School makes its presence felt at the Festival every year, and this year is no exception.
Our school will be represented by Jakub Krzyszpin with his animated film "The Crooked Heads."
We're keeping our fingers crossed for Kuba!
THE CROOKED HEADS
Synopsis: The smell of mine smoke envelops a forgotten Polish housing estate. The young man shaves his head, puts on a tracksuit, and confronts the shadow of his big brother and his past.
