* As many as 3 of the 10 final projects of the EkSoc StartUp academic startup competition are by teams from the Lodz Film School.

Here are our representatives from the Film Art Organization Department in the finals:

- EchoLens – an interdisciplinary AR platform that brings to life the history of cities and people; Team: Paweł Hermanowski and Sebastian Jerzykowski.

- Film Distribution Consortium – Digitalization of Festival Strategy Planning; Team: Sebastian Maur and Zofia Serafin.

- MUZYKU – a multimedia platform for promoting musical activity among adult amateurs; Team: Mikołaj Tabako i Sebastian Maur.


The jury will monitor the progress of a total of 26 students (from various universities) who, under the supervision of specialists, will refine and implement their business ideas over the next few months, and then compete for the main prize and distinctions during the Final Gala on May 29, 2026.

* Sebastian Maur grant success!

Sebastian Maur received support from the ŁódźArte Foundation for the post-production and distribution of his reportage entitled "Urodzony Sebą," carried out under the artistic supervision of Jacek Snopkiewicz, a lecturer at Film Art Organization Dept.
The grant aims to directly support artists associated with Łódź.


Sebastian Maur - as he calls himself: a filmmaker and producer on the move... A master's student at the Lodz Film School, long-time chairman of the Student Council, and currently chairman of the Scientific Club for Film Distribution "Konsorcjum Przepływu Filmowego".
